Days of Soviet Union

Soviet Union period started since 1920 when Lenin came to the post of dictator. In that days, so many kazakh intelligences and scientists, writers and intellectuals were slain,nothing good was on USSR. I know very less about USSR, but by the stories of my grandparents this was very conservative, strict and boring times. Of course, they somehow liked it because this reminds them a childhood, but still in USSR they lived like in the fish aquarium – isolated from everything. Of course, they had a stable job, everything is secured, no banditism, but they didn’t have their own ideas and points of view, thats not allowed.

By stories of my grandparents, soviet times were very strict, conservative, boring but also at the same time were very secure. Everybody had the  same clothes,  ate the same food, had the same points of view.  Of course, they had in those highlights in their life, but still most of them couldn’t get through to the top,so they lived common life. Advantage of USSR is only that nobody got unemployed.

But after disorder of Soviet Union started an inflation of money, unemployment and hunger. Started a new stream of racketeers, illegal trades and market trades. Only people who saved their money and had a new idea about how to earn money. And only from 1997 government took full control of private business, taxes, secure of society.

How i like English

i started to learn english since kindergarten times, it was very interesting for me, very exotic and strange. It wasn’t actually in kindergarten , i was studying with my tutors.  I enthusiastically studied my english with my tutors. Then i started to study English at 2nd grade in school. I was one of the best pupils in English class, an A student. Still while this i was studying with tutors, until 9th grade. Whole 10 th grade i was studying in USA as an exchange student. I totally improved my english but again, after 1 year, i lithle bit forgot english language. Now i am at 11th grade( senior class), studying well at english class in school and joined a TOEFL courses, to get to US university.

I like english very much, because i think this is a very comfortable and nice language. But the most reason is that it is worldwide language. I think,  only from that language you can communicate with your business partners, study abroad and to get to know foreign friends . All international business internet sites are in english, to get it more comfortably, you have to know english language. In those days you can’t get a good job without knowledge of english language, especially when Kazakhstan needs to get a business partnership with Europe and United States.

I study english because i want to get foreign friends, good business partners and most important, to get to US university and get a great job!

Family

In my family, i have brother, mother, father, 2 grandfathers and 2 grandmothers.  Let’s first talk about my brother: he is 14,  he likes playing soccer,  playing computer and video games. So, because he is only 14, thats usually what of most his friends do. My mother is a housewife.  My father is a private businessman, he works mostly with real estate. So, let me talk more about my grandparents.

First, i would like to present my grandparents from father’s line. Grandpa’s name is Amanzhol and grandma’s is Sagymbala . My grandpa is a wrestler. When he was young, he was in KazUSSR national team by freestyle wrestling in weight of 62 kg, he was twice a champion of USSR, twice took a second and once third places there. After, he became a head coach of Kazakhstan National Team, i am not sure, but i think it was in 1973 until 2004, then he decided to retire and be more with family. I think only his wrestlers were best in Kazakhstan, they were champions of Olympic games, of Worldwide championships, of Asian championships, and of course, national champions.  He really was the best coach by freestyle wrestling in Kazakhstan,well-known in Russia and countries of ex-USSR. He is a master of sport in world class. Ok, let’s talk about my grandmother – she is a professor in Academy of sport and tourism, she is specialized in biology and anatomy, she is also respected professor in her academy, where she works. I think their ways were extremely hard, because they came from a very poor family.

 Now about my granparents from mother’s line. grandpa’s name is Batyrlan and grandma’s name is Lidia.  My grandfather from motherside is well educated person, i don’t know what he does, but i know that he high- educated, he knows very good math, physics and history. When i have some interesting questions in history, i always ask him and our  conversations get very long. My grandmother’s is also professor and she also works in Academy of sport and tourism, her specialization is medicine. She came from a very privileged family, her father, my grandgrandfather was a minister, i don’t know my what.

 That’s all i can say about my family!
